Umbilical cord clamps are medical devices used during childbirth. After a baby is born, the umbilical cord, which was the baby's lifeline to the mother during pregnancy, is no longer needed. Within a few minutes after birth, the cord isclamped and cut close to the navel.
These clamps are usually made of plastic and are designed to be secure and easy to use, ensuring that there is no bleeding from the cord after it's cut. They come in various sizes and types, some of which are disposable.
- This product is used to snip off and clamp the umbilical cord. Includes 2 x sterile umbilical cord clamps and scissor.
- When using this product, please make sure the umbilical clamp is embedded in the "V" trough.
- Ensure this product is 4cm away from the neonate's kyte, then firmly hold the handles and clamp and cut at the same time.
How to use umbilical cord scissors
1.The white clamp must always face toward the infant
2.Lift clamp cut apporx. 2~4 cm up from the child and place the cord deep in to the clamp and close the white pinch
3.Take off the clamp within 24~48 hours after the color of umbilical cord is translucent and the end of umbilical cord is dry.
